Default OHV zones

I have called around and no one can give me a straight answer.
I know that one can hunt ruffed grouse in 406, but can one also hunt ruffed grouse in the OHV zone?

you need to get a copy of the hunting regulations. All your hunting questions can be answered by reading through it, including this question.

He asked a question. Just give him an answer other than that. So tired of this answer.

More than reading the regulations, everyone should read a copy of the wildlife act. Why not be in the know about the activity you are partaking in. After reading the wildlife act, read the transportation saftey act.
Then just keep on going. Read again and then grab another act and read it.
Beats asking a question and maybe getting the wrong answer.

What is "the OHV zone"?

I'd appreciate an answer from one of the "Read you regulations" people please.

Default OHV Zones.

Hi All,
I did have another read from the regs that I have, just couldn't get the right answer that I was happy with!
I just got off the phone with my local CO, great guy!
So, you can hunt ruffed grouse in the off highway vehicle zone within 406, you just have to make sure that you not driving a quad on a 4x4 trail. doesn’t matter to us, as we are just parking and hiking, I just wanted to make sure that we were allowed in there! He even suggested a couple other places to try out.

thanks for the replies!
