Could use a hint

Been hiking up and down and all around the smoky river off the canfor road for the past few days. Have not heard or seen any elk or signs of them. Could someone give a hand. I was told on here one day that elk live all along this river but we aren't having any luck.

if you're looking for elk go to range road 101 north of valhalla elk up there are going strong and I'd say there's 15 bull elk to every hunter with some 380 class bulls just keep off the farm land cuz some of them farmers are real ****s I was up there this morning and had for going if you go up there let me know how you make out 4 bulls going hard

The farmers are some of the nicest people around in that area. You just have to ask for permission.....

And to the OP, go between the smokey and the wapiti, get as far in as possible. Endless amounts of elk.
