Default Anyone ever forget anything in a rental car

So I dropped the.rental car off at the airport yesterday morning. While.we are flying over Halifax for an hour waiting for a break in the fog to land I remember my sister put my camera in the back seat when she was finished with it Saturday night and I forgot to grab it. So i called enterprise and left a message saying I think I forgot my camera. No call back.

I tried calling 9 times today and kept getting the voicemail. Girlfriend gets through and tells them what happened and they say we will.go look. This was at 11 am, still no call back. I'm gonna call again in the morning.

So am I out a camera and the.young detailing kid.in one? Or will it actually show up.

Bent me over on the price of the rental and got a new camera, good work enterprise

Good luck I hope you run into an honest detailer.

Maybe try calling corporate and talking with them.

Did you have model and serial on the camera?

I know the model number, not serial number. But o can describe every little detail of it, the pictures, the batteries, and even the.model of memory card. I just got it 2 months ago too after crack heads stole my other one

Both times I got them back.

I once rented a car that had a large ziplock freezer bag full of white powder left in the glove box! I was quite nervous till we determined it was laundry detergent.

We rented a Blazer in Winnipeg during my daughters grad. Daughter left her wallet in the Blazer without even knowing where she lost it.

One week later we were in Victoria ang I got a call on my cell. The people that rented that Blazer next found the wallet that had my cell number in it.

I told them we were out of town in Vic and would meet once we got back to Winnipeg.

"OH? We are also in Vic...about 3 km down the road from where you are."

Daughter got her wallet back about 15 min after that call.

I left a really expensive pair of sunglasses in a rental once along with a phone charger. Well I realized it about 10 minutes after dropping the car off, but somehow the rental car company was unable to locate them both and said if they did find them they would ship them to my home adress. They never came.

This is exactly the reason I do a thorough check of the rental before I turn in the keys. I move the seats, check in every nook and cranny. In fact I've found multiple sets of keys and cell phone chargers from previous renters. I also found two sets of rental car keys for the same company in one vehicle, I returned them to the counter and the guy said they had been looking for those sets for weeks. For the record, I give everything I find (except money, lol), to the counter.

So.. At the end of the day, just hope there's an honest person who returned it to the desk. Unfortunately I wouldn't count on the lot jockey/cleaner to find it (and return it).

Default Budget Victoria

Left a cell phone charger and change wallet in the console and didn't realize they were missing until I received them in the mail 2 weeks later.

After a few more phone calls it turns out they got my camera. Gonna get my cousin to go pick it up for me and my aunt and uncle will bring it back from nfld to Alberta next week. It's nice when things work out.

Default Funny but seems like it could have gone very very badly.

I have some buddies that are hard core party guys. We went to a stag for a bar staff friend of ours.

Anyway they disappear to the bathroom to do their thing. Come back laughing like I have never seen anyone laugh. Great, I don't do junk and I missed the greatest laugh ever. I asked what they where laughing at.

Well one of their friends followed them in so one of the guys tried to play a little joke on him. He left a line of what turned out to be a Drano like product and this guy cleaned it up. These guys where all close buddies and they thought this was the greatest joke ever.
