Default Get rid of Adobe Flash player window

How can you get rid of that annoying Pop-up about loading Adobe flash

when you open up this site . This is pure and simple Spam .

If you make the mistake of running that program it takes over totally ...

It is far from spam. It's just a tool needed to run graphics, it takes very little space and even less performance space.

"Adobe's latest version of the Flash Player browser plug-in is just as trouble-free as previous versions, existing unobtrusively in your system until Web-based animations, games, or ubiquitous Flash ads require its services. The latest version, with its tiny size, downloads and installs quickly. Our tests turned up nothing to make us scratch our heads"

-CNET download reviews

"4 1/2 stars"

-Winplanet review.

I have had 0 problems at all with any of their programs.

If you are running vista you can override the pop up, Just not sure how off hand. I'm a vista hater so I don't deal with it much.

It cant be that obtrusive, we have it on our computers at work, and we are filtered to the 9's.
Perhaps you would be better served to PM the board owner(Rob Miskosky) and discuss this with him there.

not the same subject, He said the forum digest gave him spam.
As for the flash player most web sites you go to will use it in one form or another for adds or movie media. sooner or later you will have to down load it and its not intrusive on any computers I have ever had it on.

With the home computer I have no problems, but with the lap top I am not even able to get this site to come up, for the reasons stated. Only site that does it.
PhotoBucket gives me grief though, trying to get me to get it, on both computers.

I've found all Adobe products to be invasive and some of their programs take over the computer. ie: all photo related items and more. (Hate Adobe stuff !)

I've not found a way to block it .....yet !

No way will I load an Adobe product. I'll stop visiting a site first !

It just does what you asked it to do. There is a box that is pre clicked in the install that asks if you want to change you files to adobe extension. If you would have unclicked that box then you would have had no problems. I have tons of adobe yet all my pics still come up in windows format. It's not a hard thing to change back.
