Default Trail Cameras with time lapse feature

Does anyone here have experience using cameras with this feature. The type of setting that takes a picture are pre-set intervals then will play the whole day back as a movie. My father has a 100 ac. blueberry field that he wants to keep an eye on. Any feedback on what models work well or not would be helpful in choosing one.

I built a Time Lapse unit for the U of A for a river/ ice break up project they were doing a few years back, but the one was all I built.
You can buy the parts if you search "time lapse controller" or "time lapse cameras" The one is a Canadian site I believe.
