I want to leave tomorrow and camp over night and mostly fly fish from shore tomorrow and Sunday all day. If you were to do something like this which place would you pick? I may fry up one or two (not sure yet as a buddy is coming with me who wants to try one for the first time) I just mostly want to either catch some big ones and have quite a bit of action....or catch n eat some brookies (cataract) keeping one is secondary and isnt that important to me but I know my buddy would enjoy that.
1. Bullshead
2. Policeman Outpost
3. Cataract Creek
4. Etherington ( I think its catch n release here)
5. Upper K camping and hike to rawson and elbow
My buddy will be spin casting and would be nice if he could get some action...im less concerned with myself catching a few. I just want a memorable experience.
Thanks in advance!
Cheers
Any other suggestions withing 1-3 hours of Calgary?

1. I haven't been to Bullshead in over a month, but I know there's no camping at the lake.
2. Never fished there but have heard good things.
3. Cataract has tons of brookies, nothing big though. Hard to say how clear the water will be.
4. Never fished it.
5. Great area to fish, the k lakes have some great numbers and sizes, lots of cutties in the upper. For Elbow lake there's lots of little brookies, a fly under a bobber will probably be most effective. It's a great place to keep a few from as they're overpopulated and stunted in there. Rawson has some good fishing, although unfortunately isn't open until July 16th, and then it's catch and release.
