I'll be sitting in my boat with friends BBQ'g and having a few cold ones just outside of Sicamous listening to a band play on a barge and then wait for the on water fireworks display along with 400 other boats. It is an awesome time

Smile Canada Day

In the morning I'll probably be driving one of our fire trucks in the Canada Day parade After the parade we will have a static display down in the community park.

In the afternoon I may be partaking in the annual Canada Day dive, depending on time and location, and if it conflicts with my fire department duties.

In the late evening I'll be down on the water front watching the fireworks. All in all it should be a good day

I'll probably be working, same as almost every other holiday. If not, I'm gonna be at Carson, maybe even catch a fish for a change lol

i remember this day as a young kid... it happened every year from what I remember. We'd ride our bikes down to the beach, or dad would bring us to the CPR shack on the west side of the bridge to watch them. Miss being out there

I figure with everyone in town, at BBQs or watching parades, I just might head to a nice fishing spot and enjoy the "quiet" time...lol

You can't drag your mobile palace into that lake, so it will be a noisey park slot for the pair of you.

I have been volunteered to help out at Historic Dunvegan. I will be watching the kidlets run around in period costumes and act like brats from 1896. On the plus side is they always have cake and ice cream.

Looks like I'll be taking a couple of my kids and an immigrant family (mom, dad and young son) out for a "Canadian experience": canoeing, camping and fishing at Lakeland PP.

Me - working in the morning, as usual.

Wife - working normal shift, as usual.

Maybe I'll go fishing, or some other outdoorsmans activity in the afternoon/evening.
