Default Hey From Afghanistan

How are things going in Alberta. Am doing ok here. One month gone only about six more to go. looking forward to my vacation. Dont have a lot of time send messages but i still check in from time to time. will send a couple of photos as soon as i figure out how to do that.

Hey Dad..............A little snow here today in Edmonton...nothing to be concerned about though....it falls and melts. The Edmonton Sportsmans show has come and gone...more archery stuff than in the past...........it was good!

AB is 10.5 hrs back from Kandahar local time. Kandahar midnight is 13:30 in AB. You need sleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep.

PS Gone fishin: Combat Florist....that's a good one! 20 years wearing that badge and I never heard that term before lots of others and a few that would get me barred from this forum, but not that one.

Those of us in the signals trade wear a little fellow on our cap badge, known as Hermes... the messenger of the Greek Gods. However, some people of the other military trades feel this little guy (the way he is depicted on our cap badge) looks similar to the FTD Florist guy and as we are in the army... thus, the combat florist.
