just over three weeks away boys & girls. those shopping for new gear may want to hold off as many companies will be showcasing the latest and greatest at the show.

Will be there for the three days as always. See ya there folks.

There is also something that some here might want to attend. It is the International Fly Fishing Film Festival on January 26, 2012 at Canyon Meadows Cinema. Don't know what time it is on. They neglected to put that in their email or on their site that you can buy the tickets at. I will check with Fish Tales in the morning and ask them what time it is on.

You can get tickets here, at this link. https://secure.dns77.com/www_flymaxf...m/if4store.asp
They are $15 ahead of time or $18 at the door.

Does anyone know if this would be a good place for me and my dad to set up some fly fishing lessons?

Thanks,

Andrew

Does Dave Scadden normally have a booth at this event?

Scadden (Northfork outdoors) was there 2 years ago, but not last year. I don't think they are coming up here anymore.
They are having a sale during the "show" season:

Scadden does have some cool new pontoon boats out this year, so they may just have some floor space to show them off.

There was definitely a booth with Dave Scadden's Northfork Outdoors boats last year. I didn't see Dave himself there but there was a salesman I talked to about a few of the models they had on display.

Is anyone going to be there on Friday?

I am hoping I can make it up there for the day.

If the wife can't get the day off of work I will be heading up alone unless anyone from the Lethbridge area wants to head up there with me. I wouldn't mind chucking a fly for a few hours in the bow if someone that joined me would also like to do that.

Please let me know through a pm.

I'll be there either Friday after work or Sunday afternoon. More likely the former.

Well it looks like I am heading up alone on Friday if anyone from around the Lethbridge area wants to hop in and car pool with me.

Would rather have someone to travel with then go alone.

Sounds like myself and Guitarplayingfish (erik) are going to be heading up Saturday instead of the original plan of going on Friday.

We are planning on hitting the bow for a bit but if anyone wants to jump in with us just let me know.
