Default Bevan King Barrel

Was wondering if someone can help me or enlighten me on Bevan King Barrel Contour. I have a semi custom LH Remington CDL with a 24" 257 Roberts barrel that was told was a Bevan King. What I was wondering is if Mr.King had is own Barrel Contour or did he follow some one else contour that I could use. I'm looking at replacing the Remington stock with a Mcmillian Edge and like to get it close to fit as possible.

Give mcmillan the measurements of the barrel in question, problem solved.

Bevan has such a wide variety of custom contours out there that it would be impossible to tell. Do as DG says and live happily ever after.

Ya I can have them write a custom barrel program but will cost. I have done some measurment and found that it is close to a Douglas #4 barrel. Will just have to do some fitting before bedding it.

Thanks

Try another 700 stock on your barreled action and see how it fits. I know he offers remington contours - you might luck out.

I will try that, I'm also going to see if they can use a 3-D model of the barrel because I maybe able to get one done.
