I think I stumbled into downtown Moose City. Found an old line grown up with lil saplings. Pretty much all the saplings are snapped off at 6 feet. Beds and tracks and poop EVERYWHERE. I hung a stand and sat in it last night. No traffic, except for a lil bear waitin at my truck when I got there lol. Goin back tnite. Il try and grab a picture of all them lil trees. Its ridiculous lol

Fresh breaks or an accumulation over the years? It seems to me that there are certain spots that the moose rut in every year.......almost like a September migration to them for the rut.

Ive noticed exactly the same thing. Almost like a breeding grounds. Most of them are old, however there is the beginnings of a pit that had very fresh pee in it and theres fresh tracks poop and beds everywhere so there is definatley moose present. It hit minus 1 here last night, and aint sposed to be warmer than about 15 all week and no work in sight for this guy, should be an interesting week around here. Got the winch all installed in the back of my truck the other day, im just achin to try it lol
