Meat of the future will you eat it
Just seen news where they are now cutting out farm animals and now going with 3 D printed meat. Not for me a cook said no difference when cooking or in taste. What does that mean for are future?

The meat of the past has been passed...

Im sure at some point, organic tissues will be cultured for the masses. A fine roast, tastefully layered with just the right tissues.

We are still raising and selling meat ourselves, so this is very insulting to the livestock industry
So, my answer to the question is 👎

Edible lab grown tumors, what could possibly go wrong? A little tabasco, I'm sure it would be quite nice...

Sounds like a way to feed people in places where Unicef operates. Might be able to solve some food problems. Factories there could hire locals and produce food to feed the starving.
But will they? HIGHLY UNLIKELY.....
It's not in their mandate.

Maybe, Maybe not. You might be hunting with sticks and stones when they take our guns away, already making noise about bows and arrows. If everyone had to resort to hunting to feed themselves there would be no fish or game left within a few months. Then we'd have to eat liberals...yukk.

I suspect they'd leave a sour taste in your mouth.

We were discussing this at work tonight after a nice beef burger.
Man made meat will easily take over the market when it is:
-the right taste
-the right texture
-cheaper than meat
That’s all it will take. Unfortunately it leaves the big manufacturing plants in a position of power. No little guys can compete with that and the Monsanto type conglomerates will easily take over the market.

Gonna be honest here. Ain’t gonna knock it till I try it……
If it tastes as good or better and is a lot cheaper to buy, I’m in like flinn.
Store bought meat is ridiculously priced now. Can only imagine 10 years from now.
Hunting may look different 10 years from now as well.
Would nice cutting into a 3 dollar steak that tastes better than a 30 dollar ribeye but im 99% sure that won’t be happening.
Besides I’d like to support our ranchers if I can. But if the push to change drives a big price wedge between the two. There may be no option. At all.
