Got to say, I love seeing Calgary get swept, but at the same time it annoys me a lot. Way to go Flames, you bunch of bums, Anaheim may as well as had a first round bye. They're going to be the most well rested and healthy team in the second round of the playoffs, meanwhile Edmonton just did a grueling six game series against last year's Western Conference champs, while half the team apparently is battling the flu (Klef being too sick to even play the 3rd means he must have been really sick).
That said, probably don't play in Anaheim til Thursday or later, and that does give ample time for the boys to rest up and get healthy. No one appears to have any physical injuries beyond bumps and bruises which is fantastic news.
In a square off between a healthy Oilers verses a healthy Ducks, it's definitely close but I'll take the Oilers. However, Anaheim has the bonus of home ice, and the fact that the refs will probably turn a completely blind eye to all of Perry's and Kesler's BS that you just know they're going to pull, definitely gives Anaheim an edge. Will be a fun series, that is for sure.

Didn't think Flames would be swept, so sad. As much as I want Oilers to beat the ducks, i think ducks will make the cup finals, sure hope I'm wrong. Don't like them quackers.

Exactly. Fun seeing bb get all worked up over my comments. Like said already, none of us have any effect on the outcome of the game, we just enjoy watching. In this case, the Flames are bums (millionaire bums, that is) for not being able to do anything against the Ducks. Just like how the Oilers were millionaire bums for 10 seasons before this one.

I guess you choked down those crow feathers last night.
Save the recipe, you're still talking your way into a whole lotta crow de jour.
it'll take a few times before you learn, but I guess it's to be expected from a bruins fan

Remember when the Flames went 7 years? Noooo. We never remember that.
Speaking of long dry spells. Flames ever going to win "two" cups?
NM. We already know the answer. When it comes to sports Cowgary's always behind.

Sorry if you find the facts beneath you or unworthy of further discussion.
Oilers aren't my #1 team either, but at least I've lived in both cities and witnessed the reality that is their fans. I'm well aware of the frustration that exists when Cgy sportsfans look north.

Sure bud
Once again, none of us have any influence or what happens in the game, or can take any credit for what the players of our favorite teams do on the ice. Lets all sit back and enjoy some good playoff hockey.

They already won two cups but the refs and league took one away.
