Bassett, that's a great shot on that elk. Should be some excellent eats.
But wth did you do to your hand opening that beer?

I realize now after I view the video and shot placement the elk slightly jumped the string because where I hit him would be impossible...I would have smoked the tree.

I believe ya. Got a text tonight from my customer that lives where I hunt. They heard one bull tonight so it may be beginning. Unfortunately I'm working till thurs- fri.

I got within 45 yards of two Bulls fighting tonight and video'd them
Two other Bulls were bugling at last light.

500 yard stalk...30 yard shot, 60 yard follow up and 130-150 yard recovery.
Thanks to C_Taylor for switching the gears from morning elk to a mulie stalk!
