I'd like to consolidate 2 of my PIF items into one if I'm allowed to. I posted 2 Gun Dog training books and afterwards I found a dog's hunting vest. It makes sense that the 2 PIFs should go together and perhaps make for a more attractive PIF. It wouldn't hurt nothing and I already offered both PIF credits up towards the scope that I asked for. Please LMK.

The poll is up boys and girls, as Kanonfodder says when he starts digging in his nose;
LET'S PICK A WINNER!
Get your vote in.
Thanks in advance.
Please do not let location bias your decision to give.

Still getting LOTS of pm's as to how this works, obviously many are not reading the first page, so here is how the game works.
You MUST give a Pif before you can claim. Do not say " I want the 'widget' and I am offering a 'widget' ." I will get the mods to delete any replies not in the correct order.
If you want to play, round up your pif's and get in the thread.
Try to keep your transactions as close as possible in value, do not take a riding lawnmower if you gave a match box car. Keep it fair for everyone.
You can give as many pif's as you wish, but do not claim more than you have given.
The giver is responsible for shipping. Please do so within 3 days of your gift being claimed. I still get the odd pm about not receiving pifs from last year.
Keep everything other than shipping addresses in the thread, pm's claiming gifts are not to be used. The format is again, give a pif, quote the reply of the item you would like, and add "I would like this please". Very simple.
Part 2
After the thread gets rolling, I will ask for ideas on who to name as the recipient of the donations.
Let's hold off the ideas until I bring it up though, please.
Have fun, and Go!
DO NOT PUT AN ASKING PRICE AND DO NOT AUCTION YOUR ITEM! You can show a value, but not demand amounts.
These are gifts.

My takeoff sight from a pse bow madness rts in right hand. Its a 3 pin, and additional pins may be added
3 die set for 41 mag reloading dies, not the carbide version. RCBS Group B Part# 18506 takes Shell holder #30 (sorry not included)
two boxes of wincherster 2 3/4" 16ga shotshells, one in #6 and the other #7.5 local pickup in Edm only for this one please
I have about 20 once fired 35 whelen brass, and a few 45/70 if anybody in edm just wants to come and take em away, no credit here just usefull stuff not usefull to me.
for the blackpowder people...
A Lee single cavity alum block roundball mold in .440 with handles. Cavity is in good shape but the steel to the handles got a little rusty.
Some black powder things for all those who helped me over the years
I have a fairly large powder horn, it has a brass button dispenser. Its kind of ugly beside a carved or scrimshaw horn but if you need one it would be great. It has a bit of #2 (thats the ff) goex still in there so local pickup on this in edm please. Do not want any credit for this item.
I have some T.C. wonder lube and maxi lube used and about 150 felt over powder wads for a 16 ga or .69 cal trade gun. No credit for this either.
I can get some pictures of all this stuff if anybody likes

But if you are not in a hurry I can put these up to clear the slate. Prefer local pickup as I don't want to invest $25. each into shipping them all over the province.

Kershaw Pocket Knife
This is a spare Kershaw junkyard dog I have hanging around, it is used but still in great shape. If you need a large pocket knife that can handle a lot of abuse this is the one!

Don't want to clutter up Ken's inbox with another "I'm confused" message, so if anyone could answer this for me, I sure would appreciate it.
If I understand this thread and its purpose, I would post that I have something of value that someone else might need/want. When that item is claimed, I can ask for something listed of similar value. This much I understand.
What I think happens next is that Part 2 of the PIF is that the person who claimed what I posted and I, also, would send the values of the items we claimed to Ken (or the designated charity) as voluntary donations and that's how the gifts we claim would become "pay it forwards."
If I'm correct so far, the only question I have is who determines the "value" of the item claimed in order to send an appropriate donation? Are we on the honour system? For instance, those super duper sunglasses that DarkAisling posted (and that I coveted because, like Orv, I am a sunglasses addict) have a value of almost $400.00 - if I had successfully claimed them, I would then donate that amount as my pay it forward?
Sorry to be so thick,
Deb

Deb, You put up an item before you can claim one but you don't have to wait until someone claims yours before claiming someone else's. Put up a PIF item and claim a PIF item of similar value........simple as that.

That is your only requirement, other than shipping or delivering your gift.
Immediately upon giving your pif, you can claim any pif listed, just keep the values fair.
If I'm correct so far, the only question I have is who determines the "value" of the item claimed in order to send an appropriate donation?
You do not have to list a value, we likely have an idea. If it is a new or special item, ie wwbirds decoys, values are appreciated.
Are we on the honour system? For instance, those super duper sunglasses that DarkAisling posted (and that I coveted because, like Orv, I am a sunglasses addict) have a value of almost $400.00 - if I had successfully claimed them, I would then donate that amount as my pay it forward?
No, your first pif covers your first claim.
Sorry to be so thick,
Deb

Soon we will pick a recipient, then you can pif a cash donation, or pay the asking value for an item like wwbirds decoys, which goes towards the charity recipient.
Wwbirds jumped the gun on the 'asking for money part' but as he is a sponsored member we will let it ride. We will blame it on old age and forgetfulness

asking for money
I only asked for money on your behalf because with your declining memory you had forgotten to raise any money with the fund raisier.
I had seen it before so assumed sooner or later while I am out of the country you would ask for donations with a specific amounts. If that is jumping the gun, so be it!!
