Can you take a picture of that, if there is anything, as well as the markings on the stock wrist.
Looks like a No4 Mk1, maybe a mk2, that's what I need the other pictures for.
Also check and see if the bolt serial number on the bottom edge of the bolt handle and the rifle serial number, which is on the side of the of the front receiver ring, match.
It's been Bubba'd, unfortunatly, as a full wood original would fetch a handsome price.

There is nothing stamped on the other side of the ejection port..I think anyhow. EDIT ther eis something stamped there..but very very faint...I'll see if i can figure it out.
I have attached a link of the underside of the wrist

is how it should look...my camera needs a tune up..sorry.
The receiver ring and the barrel of course match, but the underside of the bolt is stamped with a crown above BNP
There are several other stamps on the bolt as well
The part that rotates to fit into the receiver is stamped with a 2 and some other markings that make zero sense to me...and on the opposite end is stamped with 62 on the one side and " F55 2"
Also, Why don't I see any Mk1 or Mk2 with a similar stock? They all seem to be full stocks.
