Brass quantity for New Rifle

quick question here...

How many cases would you purchase for a new rifle that you are starting to load for?
Recreational shooter / Hunter. No PRS or competition shooting. I would like to shoot a few hundred rounds a year going forward. Maybe more but not sure if that will happen.

100? 200? 300? or more?
