I own a 2013 Tundra and they are not the easiest on gas. That being said it is a great truck.

The ridgeline is not really a truck per se. It is kinda like the old Avalanche SUV chassis with a make shift truck body.

If I was looking I would suggest the GM 1500 with the smaller V8, good on gas and will tow a smaller trailer or boat.
