Who cares.

They should put their energy towards something that benefits mankind.

I’m watching ... supporting and celebrating achievement. Learning all about scoring in case I am ever asked to judge any popular AO Forum Events like “Stirring the Pot”, “Castle Doctrine”, “Conspiracy Theory” ..... Pretty sure we’ve got medal contenders right here in our midst but first they have to pass the dope testing. So far, they have proven their nimbleness and avoided any bans. (Got to admit I do suspect a few that were previously banned are back under a new flag.)

This is an achievement, no doubt.

Risky, but rewarding.

Default Ski Jumping

I've been wowed by the ski jumping.
That must be one of the most incredible feelings in the world.
Closest thing to flying.

The kid from Calgary did pretty good today. Mackenzie.

Also Olympic womens hockey is amazing, especially CAN vs USA games.

I'm all for the Olympics.
Usually countries that have the "abandoned venue" stigma, have a lot of other problems contributing to their crumbling infrastructure aside from having hosted the Olympics.

I like to watch but generally think the olympics no longer represents the spirit in which they were established. With countties dumping hundreds of millions to billions of $$ on venues that will get very little use after the games while their citizens live destitute. Can’t in good conscious be proud of that.

How true. Billions of dollars spent for photo ops, while mortgaging future peoplekind for venues left deteriorating. Someone makes money off this but not us. Look at Calgary Olympic Park, Look at Sochi Site. Pretty expensive spending for a few athletes.

We've been watching it. Regardless of the sport I find it exciting when there's a medal on the line and Canada has a chance to win one. Without the NHL players in men's hockey it doesn't have me pumped about hockey like I usually would be though. I guess that everyone's in the same boat, but still. Back to the 60's when the Red Army won all of the time I guess.

Lol fishinnmatt

I think the Olympics summer or winter, show what is possible with the human mind and body.

I would love to have any of these athletes with me when I’ve only found hair and a drop of blood where I thought my trophy would be laying down.

True perceveirence, endurance, dedication, and will.

No different than the hunter.

I go curling three times a week so watching the games becomes addictive.

Gotta love that USA team though. They look like good ol' beer and pizza boys instead of the kale smoothie types on the other teams, and they just beat Koe and company!
