Default Savages turned pretty?

Hey all,

I recently decided that I wanted to get a couple boyds stocks for my savage 114 300 win mag and 111 7mm rem mag. The 114 did have a walnut stock but I fell on some rocks while hunting and pretty much broke the stock in two almost. The 111 had the cheap plastic stock so I just wanted to give it an upgrade. I've always liked the wood or laminate look over the plastic/synthetic look as well as the feel. Both rifles slipped right into both stocks with ease and without purchasing any extra parts. They are a perfect fit and now it feels like owning two new rifles. I think it was a nice little upgrade and they look great!

Kevin

You screwed up the install and put the bolt handles on the wrong side.

They look great!

The model that I have for both rifles is the prairie hunter. I like the rasied cheek rest!
