What 7mm bullet for long range paper punching?

Having the long weekend off I’m having some fun playing in the garage and reloading for my .300 SAUM. Now I want to start load developing for my 700 sendero in 7mm SAUM. It is a factory short action so I can’t seat the bullets to long. I’m just curious what bullets you guys are shooting for long range target and steel shooting. I won’t hunt with the rifle since I have the .300 to hunt with and many others. The only bullets I have in 7mm are nosler accubonds 150 gr. but I use them in my 7-08, so I’ll have to go buy some. I was thinking of something a little heavier, I shoot my .308 out to 1000m so this rifle is going to be used past that for sure. Let me what bullets you like for long range or targets, competitions etc.

I have been looking into the VLD line up. I mostly shoot hornady and nosler, wouldn’t mind spreading my horizon more on different bullets.

I plan on using H4350 for now and see how it works out.

I use the Berger 180 hybrid in my 7LRM. An accurate bullet and not real sensitive to seating depth

Haha yeah Kurt, those look like they worked great! Im probably going to buy a couple different weights and see how they do through the magneto. Lots of time to find a load for this rifle since I won’t be buying the scope I want for at least 18 months or longer.

I've got/had a Sendero in 7mm Rem Mag and it loved 180gr Berger Classic Hunters. Tore it down though and I'm in the final stages of rebuilding it. I've accurized the action and re-barrel to a Jury 1-8 twist to try shooting the 195 Elite Hunters.

Anyway, here's a group I shot with it before the rebuild when I first got it. Not too shabby for a factory rifle. This was with the 180 Berger Classic's. I haven't had a rifle yet that didn't shoot Berger's well.
