Default Custom Rod tubes

Anyone know where or how a guy would go about getting a custom rod tube built for a short little 4 piece creek rod?

Get some pvc pipe, proper end fittings, cut to size, glue and done. Decorate if you like

I wrapped mine with three different colors of yarn, used 1 1/2" pipe for 6'6" 3pc 3wt fiberglass I just finished building. Get some felt pads for furniture and glue them inside of end caps, this will cushion the rod. For a cloth bag I ripped up an old pillowcase with polka dots and use it as a wrap.

yup, PVC pipe if you're not worried about looks. I made custom length dual holders for my 5wt and 8wt. Cost me around $20.

I also use PVC, but to be specific, I use central vacuum tubing. You can buy cap ends, as well, to finish the job.

Much thinner, and much lighter, but still very rigid. True, it's not as strong, but it's tough enough as long as you don't step on it with your full weight.

Perfect if you want to hike in to a lake without a lot of extra weight.

My best friend owns a central vacuum shop, gonna have to check this vacuum piping.
Pvc 1 1/2" pipe is still lighter than most cases, 2" pipe might be about the same weight.
