Default Dogpound creek and Cochrane area??

What's the fishing like on dogpound creek near the rodeo grounds? Have a family reunion at the rodeo grounds this weekend and from the map the creek isn't far away down twp 290 and appears to be in a very bendy section of the creek.

Also, any suggestions in the town of Cochrane itself? Obviously the bow is popular. What about the jumping pound creek? Any spots accessible from George fox trail area or in walking/cycling distance of the town?
I also heard some people talk about the creek in the ranche house park being fish able. Any suggestions?

Cheers

The dogpound in that area is very tough to fish there are better areas near there do so exploring. Jumping pound is very good further upstream above k country boarder.

So no good spots on the jumping pound in the town? It seems like from George fox trail to hwy 1 jumping pound is pretty inaccessible.

For dog pound then, where would be the closest area to the rodeo grounds that is accessible?
Cheers
