Default Not a bad first year of hunting

I finally figured out how to post off my phone, so I’m catching up a bit. I have 5 boys and was able to take my second oldest boy hunting this year. He’s always been the most eager to hunt. Ever since he was like two, anytime I would stop to look at an animal, he would yell shoot it dad! So he was chomping at the bit to start hunting for himself. We took him up north to bear hunt with Byron at wolf hunting adventures. Such a fun father son trip. He got a nice boar. It was fun to watch him fully body shake on his first animal. In october he skipped school for 3 days and helped me hunt my antelope. In November we partnered him on a couple tags and he ended up getting his whitetail, mule deer, and moose. It was a blast, and I sure enjoyed the couple weeks together spent hunting. Hopefully when I get old, my boys will drag me along on their adventures. Its good motivation to try and stay young!

Thanks. The last photo of the bear, we did the old stand as far away as possible to make it look big as a joke- just incase someone gets on us for that, ha,ha. Sorry about the sideways photos, not sure how to fix that.

Default Senior hunter

What a great first year hunting guys.

We used to miss school to go hunting too.

Hopefully your kids will take you hunting when you get on in age. Took my 75 year old dad hunting last year with brother and I after he hadn't been out in 20 years or so. We all had a blast and the stories we could tell.
