While it is considered a serious crime for some, to shoot a bighorn in a national park, it is perfectly legal for others to do so.

Unless you shoot one that just steps out of a park or mine. Then you are mighty. It might even make you famous. Lol.

Probably was, or done by a more equal who isn’t included this time. No one else can be found to possess or sell an unplugged ram.
This is the kind of nonsense that happens when people like KVT, Karsten and their followers are employed in parks Canada. Racism, poaching, foolish policy, poor management.
Parks Canada needs a much overdue overhauling. If it’s going to be a national park, take the social politics out of it.

Quote from the article:
"Parks closed the area until further notice, citing public safety, according to a Friday news release, which indicated wardens believe a poaching offence likely took place between 4 p.m. Oct. 16 and 10 a.m. Oct. 17"
Why would this be considered a public safety issue? Bizarre...

It sounds more like they are trying to hide something from the public.

Investigation, something may have indicated reasoning to close the park which has not been released. If they told us everything it could jeopardize the investigation plus it wouldn’t be as much fun reading social media platforms with all the spin offs

Don't you know?
It's because there could be a crazed, whacked out slobbering poacher roaming around in the woods over there..packing an assault weapon and a machete..
''Beheading'' everything and everyone in sight..
Bizarre to most.... believable to some within PC..

They've determined there were 3 trucks traveling together which is now considered a convoy.
