Default Rocky Mountain Rifles?

Anyone own or have any firsthand shooting experience with these rifles. I fondled one at Huntfest this year and it felt amazing. I am seriously thinking about picking one up in 280AI but wanted to get some feedback from those who shoot/hunt with a RMR. The rifle would mainly be used for Elk and Sheep so any suggestions on modle type or custom options would be appreciated.

Below are three consecutive groups fired with the 300RUM that Corlane built for me using a 700 action, Gaillard barrel, and Mcmillan stock.

I just ordered a rifle from Kevin Weaver at Weaver Rifles in Colorado. He is making beautiful rifles at a great price. I have personally seen 2 of his rifles and would say that they are nicer than a RMR and as nice as a Bansner Rifle. Good Luck.

I wanted a gun for the same critters and I didn't want a heavy one or one that kicked the snot out of me. I went with a 260 AI RMR. McMillan Edge stock, PacNor barrel and the Thinhorn (Defiance) custom action. The rifle is a dream to shoot and deadly accurate. So far this year it has accounted for a bighorn, bull elk and 2 whitetail bucks.
If the RMR you fondled at Huntfest was tan colored you were fondling my rifle.
