Default 7 mag needs new scope !

Need a new scope for my Browning 7 mag stainless ,so what is a good choice.
This is my back up riffle for my 338 on long trips ,but this year the riffle will be used for antilope this year and maybe one more sheep hunt.
I have always been a Leupold fan ,just not sure if this is the brand i will buy or what power ..WHO'S shooting what on there 7 mag?

You can send that scope to Okotoks to have the power ring issue resolved on warranty.

Had a B & L 3-7x32 compact scope on the 338 ,just did not gather the light as well .
I still have it ,just need a tighter /off set mounts to get them on the 7

They are like that and they will "loosen" it for you on warranty. I've got one I may send in, but I'm at the same crossroads you are.

Put 3.5-10X40 on 7mm, buy and put 2.5-8x36 VXIII on 338.

Thats what I had on it was the VX111 3.5 -10 X40.

Its on the 338 now ,and yes very good scope ,20 years old now and never got knocked out ,even after many sheep hunts .

I'd put it back and put a VX II 2-7X33 on the .338

I used a Leupold 3.5-10X40 VX III on my 7 mag, and now use an FX 6X36 on my 280 AI.
