Soft parts seem to be here and there at brownlows. The fish seem to change every day was out last weekend and it was ok then was out again today and it was a tuff go.

Not sure? Fished 8:30-1:00 saw and missed 1 pike and saw 8 Perch missed 2. Moved a dozen times drilled 29 holes to no avail.

I spoke w/ at least 15 other anglers and everyone was scratching their heads.

5 1/2 hours - moved 12 times - 29 holes avg 11 mins per hole, 27 min per location - no wonder you didnt see /catch much patience man patience!

just jostle'n ya

It's roughly 20 mins/ move multiple holes drilled each move for cam etc. I had 360 degree view at each spot and saw very few fish each time.

If you're not seeing fish inside 20 mins it's time to jet. That's just how I roll when it's slow.

yeah i guess if you have a cam it is easier to determine if the fish are around.
i sometimes sit at a hole all day and then right when i decide to start packing it in i start getting action.

Fished the south end today and caught 33 perch on minnows, maggots, a little 5 of diamonds...most were 6-8" but I caught a few 10-11"...saw one walleye, a few whitefish and one burbot and hooked and lost the same 20" pike 5 times.

I have never seen that many perch on the camera at Gull in the 2 years I have been ice fishing there.

Run and gun, this is the way most successful anglers fish, well depending on species and lake. When fish aren't active go find them. Sometimes 5 mins a hole then move. Can be a lot of work, but can pay off.
