Setting up my hunting bow for 3-D
Hey all,
I have been doing some 3-D shooting and would like to set my bow up a bit more specifically for it. So what steps would you reccomend for using a hunting bow to shoot 3-D.
Currently I am shooting a Diamond Stud. 28 1/2' Draw pulling 65lbs.
Rest: Whisker Biskit, Sight: Cobra 5 pin something or other, Fletcher Peep.
Shooting Easton Powerflight arrows, Stab: Carbon Express 6".
For now I have some Easton Lightspeeds on order (thinking lighter / flatter is a good start)
I am putting a Ripcord, Code red drop-away on (Early Christmas to me!)
And I am going to back the draw weight off on my bow a bit, easier to hold on target hopefully.
What else would be good changes or improvements, keeping in mind that come summer I will getting ready to start hunting with it again so hopefully just switch arrow, sight in and keep practicing...
