Default Let's see / hear about your spring bears

Another member has a couple of baits set up and we have been out a few times so far, but nothing yet. We've put many miles on the truck and on foot and have yet to see any sign of a bear near Sundre / Caroline.

Anyone got one yet? Post your pics / stories.....don't worry, not asking for anyones honey spots....

I've grown up in that area and you'll probably see more grizzlies than black bears, but good luck.

Funny you say that....we found some trees clawed up by grizzlies....but not a single sign of blacks yet.

Default Bear hunting

I live on Vancouver Island we went out on our first bear hunt of the year, so one sow with cubs, one fork buck and the best of all 23 mature Roosevelt elk the spit we 12 cows and 11 bulls, that made my day I can always find a bear to shot another day!!!!!!!!!!!
