Default Minn Kota Trolling Motor Issues

Hey guys,

So my trolling motor worked last winter, get the boat in the water and go to use it but nothing happens.

Everything seems to be working properly except the prop wont spin. I get the 3 beeps on startup saying its good, check the battery levels which are maxed, and even the light on the trolling motor says system ready. Im out of ideas.

Anyone ever run into this issue or know what could be the issue?

Know of any places in or around Red Deer that could fix it? Thanks in advance

Take the prop off and check the sheer pin to see if it's been broken.

So I think I have it figured out. I pulled the plugs and connected the trolling motor directly to the battery and it functions correctly. Must be the plugs. Thanks W101, I think you hit the nail on the head.

The only problem I have ever had with mine was the inline fuse needed to be replaced due to corrosion. It was located not too far from the battery connections.
