Default Fly fishing in Edson
Hey guys,

I need to be up in Edson for work on Friday so my wife and I plan to drive our trailer up Thursday afternoon and stay the weekend.

Not looking for any secret spots but does anyone know of a good place within 45 min of Edson to park a trailer with some decent fly fishing?

Drive towards Robb. There are some great spots on the McLeod

Thanks, will google maps show some places to park a trailer?

Only one I saw was the north side where the embaras joins

I'm always down for some fly action. Everyone around here just seems to want to fish for pike...

Most of the "fly fishing" streams are closed until May 15th or June 16th. The stocked lakes and bigger Rivers (McLeod, Berland, and Athabasca) are open. Myself, I would go with the McLeod, but if you have a boat, Obed Lake has some big browns.
