Default Scopalamine Patches

We used to be able to buy these over the counter. Was considered a wonder drug, endorsed by WHO once upon a time i think??? Then covid and they ban scopolamine in Canada.

Now time has passed. I seen an ad for a $15 box of patches for $100, probly with a prescription???

Is there a way to get scopolamine patches in Canada? Will a doctor give a prescription for the stuff?

Or do i have to go to the USA and see a doctor and get a prescription to buy?

The stuff is magic!

Wife is a travel med/vaccination expert. Says it was discontinued in Canada due to distribution and marketing issues, but available in US. She says dramamine (gravol /ginseng blend) is the alternative. Issue is the dosing variations as it peaks, unlike the low steady flow absorption of a patch

Probably not to many freshwater guys who know much about seasickness, it’s prevention or cure.

I’ve got one kid who could get seasick in the bathtub and bought him a few boxes of the scopolamine patches about three years ago. They certainly work (unlike most of the stuff on the market). A year ago the guys in our game fishing club tipped me off to compounded scopamine tablets. They work even better, they’re cheaper and that’s all we’ve used since.

The yanks also use it in a nasal spray.

If you’re struggling to find it on your side of the pond I can probably get some to you. I’ve mailed the pills to friends in the states before, usually takes a week to get them. Idk how Canadian gestapo (customs) would react to the pills though, might have to send them with a mule.
