Default Fishing Trip with Dad

Hello,

I'm looking for info on fishing guides/adventures in northern Alberta. Let me give you some background on what I'm looking for. My father and I took a fishing trip in northern Ontario about 25 years ago. It was a week long trip on a lake where we fished primarily for pike and walleye. We had to pontoon fly into the lake. We were given a 12' boat and went on the lake by ourselves to find where the fish were. We stayed in a cabin where we had to cook for ourselves but the charter company did have a larger camp where they cooked if that's what you wanted. It was an amazing trip with my Dad that I'll never forget.

Fast forward 25 years and I live in Calgary but my Dad still lives in southern Ontario. I'd love to do another trip with him like that. He'll be in Calgary this summer so I thought it would be great if he and I could take off for a week on another fishing trip.

Are there outfitters in Alberta that provide this type of fishing (it will have to be lake fishing......my Dad doesn't fly fish)? Mikisew Sport Fishing looks like exactly what we want but their summer seems uncertain. Any other options? All help is greatly appreciated!!!!

Thanks.

Another good option to look at is Winefred Lake Lodge.
