Thoughts on Scents etc

Would like to hear your thoughts on a few things.

1) how many of you use cover scents? which brands you prefer?

2) Scents? (ex. Tinks #69, buck bomb, Scent sticks)
Again prefered brands/types?

3) Rattling? more success with smaller sets or larger deeper sounding horns?

#1 I don't use anymore. Deer seemed to wind me no matter what. A big waste of money IMHO.

#2 I haven't found a scent the critters wont run away from yet. I have seen them sniff and run away too many times

#3 I have only tried it a couple times with no success. Others seem to do ok though.

i do use some cover scent when guideing or hunting ,but i started useing liquid smoke this year to keep wind in my faver ,thats all you need.
