Default Found the perch today!

Took wife and daughter out today. 30-50 perch on my old camera all day long. We only iced 4 though. They wouldn't go away, but didn't want to bite either. I finally hooked one of the large ones, and he got all tangled on fish cam cord.....fish got off, rubber ball on tripod of cam cord fell in the lake, what a s##t show....... Haha I'll have to give it another go this week.......anybody have any advice on anything a guy can do to induce the bite??

Jig on bottom a split shot and a small tiny hook6 to 8 inches up with maggots on both let the jig sit on bottom and let your line sit loose a bit so that top hook floats around slowly easier if ya got a camera ...idk it seems tp work for me when theyre bein slow ...good to hear uas had a good day ..

Once you are in a good location holding perch, don't forget the old tried and true chunk of dew worm on a bare #6 or 8 hook.

Default Bait used

I was using maggots on a tiny tungsten hook, and also tried pieces of worms, I will try the splits hot on the bottom of my line with the tiny hook floating next time.....
