Default American non resident speed goat hunt

Been playing with this idea for a little while does anyone have any good tips or experiences to share on best states to go or how easy it is to pull off a self guided hunt?

I can't help you to much. I had a few friends go to Wyoming this past November. I believe they were all first time applicants and all drew a tag. They also put in for mule deer I believe, but no one got drawn. They said the amount of animals was insane. 100% success for their group on antelope.

We went to Gillette Wyoming years ago just paid a trespass fee and bought our tags, not sure how it works now but there was lots of goats.

Every state is different. You have to call or go online to find out about the state you want to go to. A lot of them have VERY early application dates also. I was in Billings, Montana last year end of Feb and people were putting in aplications for either elk or antelope because the deadline was very near. On the upside we seen a lot of antelope.
