Default Keho or Badger

Just a quick question fellas.

Badger or Keho for Burbs.

Not concerned with Pike, Perch Whites just strictly a Burb fishery.

Yeah, would have liked to see him stop in on more people, but he only checked in on people within a short walk from the campsite

Never have heard of anyone catching any burb at Badger.

Macgregor might be a better bet. Try the far south end of the lake

You make me feel guilty! I used to do well after dark with glow jigs & minnows @ crawling. Put a light on the jig every 5-10 min. 15 fow. How's that ?

Old trick I learned from my wife.

But thanks for the heads up. I have lots of experience fishing for them. Just was not sure what one is a better Burb fishery. I have not set up for a night fish and targeted them on either body of water.

I fished both those lakes and many over nighters at badger & only caught 1 burb but never over night at keho ! I've never seen anyone else catch 1 out of either lake !!

Never fished Keho, but have pulled a few out of Badger over the years. Maybe one every 2 years, but have never targeted them. And never fished at night. Biggest was maybe 8-9 pounds but usually 4-5.

It's been a few years since I've even been to Badger, so take it for what it's worth.

Good luck where ever you decide to go.

Old Man River res. Go north from Cowley and access the lake by the Provincial day area. Fish anywhere in that bay and you'll find burbs.

I know that Macgregor is pretty good for burbs at night. I have even seen them lurking around in the rocks quite a bit during the day at the North dam.

Spawn can be starting anytime now till March. The males will be starting to arrive on gravel bottoms now and females will fallow.

I did get one the only time I tried for them at Badger, but wasn't too impressed. Macgregor has some decent size burbs, but only had them as a byproduct of whitefishing, don't know how easy to locate them now
