I'm a seasoned fly fisherman and am taking my family out to Fish Lake (Nordegg). I'll have 2 - 11 year old girls with me that have said they are "totes" catching a fish at the lake.
I'm looking to see what a good set up would be for 11 years casting from shore. Any ideas?
i would say either a pickeral rig with powerbait or small mepps or panther spinner should work. lots of small stockers in that lake as they don't get a great chance to survive the year. not sure if they are still stocking the old brood stock in there anymore but if they are you might get into a bigger one maybe just maybe.
