Smile Perch fishing

Hey fellow anglers, My daughter is really keen on catching some perch. I was wondering if anyone knows some places near Camrose where to find them. I know they are in Coal lake and also Dried Meat lake, but any advice will help! Thanks Guys and happy fishing.

Perch are plentiful at Gull Lake east of Lacombe. South east of lake and Gorsky Bay is supposed to be good.

A real small jug about 3/4 INCH LONG with a magot for bait. Havn't fished them in years but that worked for me. Off a pier or casting out a bobber.

Have fun,
Fellow angler,

I always had great luck with a small jig head and a dragonfly larve. They are creepy to catch (look around docks and weeds as they emerge) but perch go nutz over them
