Glendel buck not good..
So I ordered the glendel buck about a week ago, at first it was great, until at arrows started go threw the vitals after only about 150 shots, after removing both stakes to switch the vitals and the back ripped off.. Email glendel and they haven't replied in 4 days. Quite disappointed.

Try not to pound the same spot all the time...use sticky dots and rotate location.

X2 Almost all targets will fail if you keep hitting the same spot.

I'll try that, still don't like that fact that the back ripped from the neck.

Take it back for sure man. That sucks. I've had my first Glendel for about 6 years or so now. On my second vital replacement in that one and still haven't had a pass through. Repainted the whole thing a few days ago as he was looking pretty tired. Have another 2 Glendels and haven't had an issue yet. Knock on wood. That being said, when I add another target to my range it will be a Rhinehart. Heard nothing but good things. Best of luck with getting satisfaction on a replacement.

I have the same GlenDel. It hasn't been very good either. Both legs broke off, antlers fall out all the time, back is starting to fail in the same spot.
I've used wooden dowels and hot glue to stick it all back together, it's Frankendeer now.

My Glendale has been awesome in all seasons even in winter. My bow is as fast as they come and has never been close to a pass through. As others have said don't shoot at the same spot from the same angle and your target will last longer. Sounds like you got a lemon take it back to where you bought it.

Me too , on my glendel ,the vital section slides back about 2" after a group of shots and isn't impressing me with it's durability .

Same thing happened my brother in laws Glendel. Back broke, won't even stay together, absolute garbage. I have a rhinehart and love it, it actually cost less than the glendel

Take it back to where you bought it, they will replace the broken part for you. As for the Rinehart, they work great but expect to pay $800 for similar animal.....and they will begin to fail if you keep shooting the same spot. For the couple hundred bucks, my Glendel has performed as expected. I have a range for myself and the kids to practice in my back yard with a mix of targets (Glendel, Rinehart, Mackenzie and Delta). Highly recommend not leaving them out in the sun for weeks as the UV will deteriorate the quality of the target. I usually put them out for a few weeks just before hunting season and get the kids shooting from the blinds that we will use. Great practice.

Sure but for a similar sized deer as the Glendel you will pay close to $800. I have got a couple of mine from a retailer that has them set up at a shoot in Havre Montana every year. Always try to buy one a year.

It wasn't that defenceless, waving its arms at me one day for no reason. Had to take it out! LOL
Apparently they are not designed for Microbursts!!
