General Mobile Radio Service (GMRS)?

Here in the US, the guys I hunt deer with all carry GMRS radios with us. We use them because where we hunt we have no cell phone service. I have two of them, and have one in my truck at all times. Was thinking of bringing them with me, but am not familiar with Canadian rules and regs. I know that GMRS is allowed - but cannot use repeaters (which I don't have anyways) - so it would be for point-to-point comms with the lodge, etc.

Do any of you use them when hunting?

Yup, we use them in Canada. But there are legal limits to the power rating (I believe that we're limited to two watts). So units purchased in the USA aren't technically legal to use here.
