very interesting, you may wanna to look at the .585 nyati, also a great big bore, but I still don't think a double .450 NE can be easily beaten

It might not have hurt his shoulder... He oviously looked like he knew how to shoot and handle a Big Bore. My .378 Wby does not have a brake, and generates significant recoil compared to the rifles that most people shoot. Some of us can put a box of shells through it, no problem... Others swear they'll never shoot it again after one shot...
As for the Big Bores, the .470 NE is gettin big, but there are still alot bigger. The .577 NE, even a .700 Nitro express. With the huge cases, and large bullets, they still tend to have realativly low velocityjust over 6,000 ft/lbs at the muzzle. The .460 Wby still runs near the top as generating the most Ft./lbs of muzzle energy.

It's always good for a laugh. This video keeps a few from shooting my 460.

I feel sorry for the rifle, being dropped so many times. Seems none of those guys had any experience handling a high recoil firearm

The guy who built that rifle has more money than all of us put together IIRC, and has a lot of fun messing about with stuff.
He is some sort of Arab Royalty and is one of the guys responsible for that site.

I don't go there any more for more than a few reasons.....

I have read lots of Saeds posts. That guy and his crew are legendary.
That Walter guy seems like a bit of a blast.
