The ACA is proposing a levy increase to hunting and fishing licenses. Note... this is only a proposal in the "consultation stage" and proposed changes have not received final approval yet. However, effective dates for the increases (if "approved") for hunting would be April 1, 2013 and fishing in April 2014.

Quote from the bottom of the ACA webpage; "If we hear from stakeholders that hunters and anglers are not willing to provide a higher level of funding towards conservation programs, then we will withdraw our request for the levy increase. If hunters and anglers support the increase, they will move request forward to the Minister of ESRD."
