Default Best Car Hauler type trailer

Hi Guys , Im in the market for a new trailer. Im looking at the car hauler type which I'll be using as a multi use trailer for hauling construction material and waste as well as hauling my quad and hunting gear. Im looking for a 16 foot which I will add sideboards too. What are the best brands to look at and which ones do I steer clear of. I am looking to spend beteen $2500 - $4000 . Thanks in advance for your help.

I have no clue on brands or any thing like that. I made an 18 foot flat deck with convertable 16 inch side walls that slide in. Make sure the trailer has a sturdy hitch and the metal underneath is strong with good welds.

i have and had three flatdecks over the years.a 7500lb 16' for demo derby,a 22 and a 18 14k for bobcat and a gorgeous 3 horse tralr. I have a 14' 14k dumping trlr now too.
one suggestion i would say is too get a longer-than-you-need one.a 7500lb 16' looks huge until you load it. id say get a 18 or 20', the upcost is minimal and it only marginaly longer

i suggest you make a pattern on the ground the same size as the trailer and put all your stuff in that space, see how it fits.
any new trlr in the entry level price range are similar in quality.
the paint usually sucks, the welds are so-so. the tires are only good for two summers. the wood is usually poor grade.
important to me and my needs:
sealed electrical system,LED's,
4 wheel brakes (maybe not on 7500)
adjustable height receiver
powder coat finish
hinging ramps, not sliders (maybe not for 7500)
welded on steel fenders.
i have some ideas that will prolong the life of your trlr when you buy one

i use these guys and they have treated me well with followup and support
ask for mike although your local guy should get your business.
