Just curious ... what would be a good guess $$$ to have a contractor shingle a house that ^ size?

Like I offered before, I can park my trailer there for a day.

Typical 1970's rectangular bungalow, and reasonable quality 3-tab 30yr. shingles.

this year i see it as low as 50$ per bundle and most are charging 60$, and one bundle cover 30 sq foot( 33 sq ft -10% for trims and cut off) .

go with architectural shingle( shake looking) they are better and more color, selection and the 3 tab are going out, price different in material is like $2-3 , although the contractor might mark it up a bit more . it's a heavier shingle stand better to wind , and easier to install .

Had mine done this summer and went to architectural type no tabs and reasonably priced. Out here in the boon docks that is. Contractor I had out of Red Deer also put down edging etc first. Used normal shingles for ridge cap and edges to save on costs as well. Best job I've ever had done so it makes a difference on who. Sometimes pays to get the best vice anyone. A reputable contractor can also get the shilgles at discount so ask that price as well.

There is a sign at the Co-op that says you can get the vaccine at the pharmacy.

I got my roof done 3 years ago and I opted for the 35 year laminate shingles
that I think will be good for 45 years.I got inventive when selecting the contractor as I own a 1/2 duplex and the owner of the other side had to get his done as well with the contractor scoring 2 jobs on 1 roof. The other guy paid for his half of the materials and I paid for my half.He paid money for the labour but I bartered for my labour cost and traded a monster house wrecker
stereo system to have the work done.I aquired the stereo system through
a loan to a now ex-friend I lent money to and to which he never paid back
but gave me the stereo system as collateral.

To the OP perhaps you can do the same and part with a non essential firearm
you own so as to reduce the cost of labour.

As for getting 3 quotes make it 4 quotes and make sure 1 of then is waiting
in place to give you a quote when 1 of the others is giving you a quote...this decreases the cost substantially when they have to actually compete for the job.

$2.88 a square foot is a competitive price for a shingle re-roof job. BP harmony is a fair product.
