I don't even get that far. I click on the link for the site and after a pause it comes back with database error message. Sometimes I have to click it a couple of times before it will go through

Bwahahaha! Got the 'Database Error' screen when I tried to reply to this thread, had to hit refresh twice to get here. Then I got the 'Communication has timed out' screen when I hit the submit button. It's as if all the site's command and navigation keys are randomly corrupted.

Yes, It has been going on two weeks for me, but it is getting worse every day. IIRC it started right after the latest Firefox update. Anybody else?

Nothing to do with Firefox. It’s been happening periodically for years now. Old platform.

Not like this. This amount of FUBAR only happens just before the site crashes for a day or two.
And yes, it is an archaic platform with security issues; according to the people who know about this stuff posting in previous threads.

Somedays it’s a miracle this site still works so consistently to begin with. vBulletin 3.8.5, which is what this forum runs on, was released over 14 years, and AFAIK hasn’t been supported by the developer since around 2017. Not sure why there wasn’t a migration to a more recent forum software years ago.

Yeah I have been getting the same thing when opening up in web browser.

That combined with the non stop pop ups when using Tapatalk is almost making the site unusable. It’s a shame because it has been a wealth of information with like minded people for so long.
