Default Please remember to donate to those less fortunate at this time of year.

Just a friendly reminder to give a hand to your fellow Canadians.

This will break your heart.

Unfortunately Bombardier will probably get the taxpayer funded handout once again.

There are lot's of regular Canadian's out there this year that are really hurting and while our family has given more this year than in the past years we still feel that we need to do more. That kind of money could really help a lot of people.

Reading on taxpayer handout's once again to Bombardier at this time of year just "frosts" me.

I think I read somewhere that certain government agencies are reducing my pay and redistributing it to less fortunate others. This will save me in fuel expenses and reduce my carbon footprint. Thanks unspecified government agency!

Not to derail your thread but if anyone has made a donation to a charity post that you did in my thread and you'll have a chance to win a free knife from me on Christmas Day

AO member challenge and contest, a positive thread for everyone

I never pass a Salvation Army kettle without putting some money into it, something my father trained me to do from a young age.

Ditto. "No matter how little you have to give, you can always give a little" (my mother said that)

And for me its less than previous years, starting to feel the pinch after being laid off. But I still give what change I have.

True enough. I tend to give more at Christmas time but the need is there all year long.
