Default problems

My Wife is having some problems with her new bow. She is hitting quit a bit low with decent groups I have moved her sights down as far as I can but she still hits low. Also when she draws the bow the string seems to pinch the knock almost poping it off the string. Dose any one have any idea what the issues could be and how to fix them. Thanks

Well if she's hitting low and you can't adjust your sight any more then you can move the arrow rest up. And if her release is pinching the bottom of the nock then she doesn't have a brass crimp below her nock point.

Has this bow been set up by someone that knows what they are doing? Sounds like you may need to take it to someone that can do a proper set up.

Thanks for the reply I guess I should have tryed moving the rest up but I am new to archery and still learning the basics. I posted some more info and some pic's.

The same person who set her bow up set my up and it shot fine. She is using a release on the string with a rubber peice between the arrow and release I thought a d loop would help with the string pushing the knock off but the guy who set it up advised against because it fits her pretty good and is set to it's shortest draw length. It's a Alpine Sienna with a Flashpoint Sight and A Ultra Rest.

Default bows

Some of the newer bows that have parallel limbs or past parallel limbs you have no choice but to shoot a d loop. The string angle is to acute to shoot off a nock. Most bow techs can tie real small D loops so the release can just grab.
