Default Ram Power Snares

Recently picked up some wolf master power snares and am itching to get them out. Will be used mostly for wolves but possibly coyotes as well.
Will be boiling all wire and snares like usual but wondering what you have to do with the spring itself??
Know many dont do anything for coyotes but know scent control is of utmost important for wolves.
What do you guys do??

Don't use them for wolves is my thought. I think you would have a lot of trouble making them work for you

You can boil your springs too but I usually hang my sets/ snares and all outside a month before I use them. Some people don't do scent control and catch wolves, some are obsessed with scent control and don't catch wolves. Get them somewhat descented and get them out there. Good luck

I killed a lot of wolves with power snares. They are a great tool for open country. They can be used basically anywhere. I would prefer regular snares for spruce stands.
